As part of National Volunteers’ Week, the Framework Knitters Museum proudly celebrated the incredible dedication, passion, and time that volunteers contribute — both across the country and especially within our own community.
To mark the occasion, the museum hosted a special afternoon tea in the historic Chapel Gallery, catered by local favourite Splitscreen @ Parkers Yard. Volunteers were warmly welcomed and thanked for their invaluable contributions in a heartfelt address by Museum Manager David Longford, followed by words of appreciation from Chair of Trustees Rebekah Pickering Wood.
The event was well attended, creating a warm and celebratory atmosphere. As a token of gratitude, each volunteer received a personalised card and a special gift bag from Volunteer Manager Sophie Lovett, a gesture that was warmly received and deeply appreciated.
The museum extends its heartfelt thanks to all its volunteers — past and present — who continue to make a lasting impact through their enthusiasm, generosity, and support.
