The more the merrier! We welcome visits from groups and societies, but please note these must be booked in advance.
There’s no minimum group size, and we charge £9 per head (subject to a minimum charge of £80).
You can book a daytime or evening group visit at any time of the year, subject to availability. Please allow at least two hours for your visit, so you can enjoy everything we have to offer.
Smaller groups can tour the museum independently, or we can arrange a guided tour by one of our knowledgeable volunteers.
Groups of 10 or more people must book a guided tour. If you visit us outside our normal opening times, your group will have the added benefit of exclusive access to the museum, Chapel and Textile Emporium.
If you’d like refreshments before or after your tour, we can provide a selection of soft drinks and light snacks in our tea room or Chapel. Please let us know your requirements when you book.

We charge £9 per adult (subject to a minimum charge of £80).
Please contact the museum in advance to discuss your group’s requirements and enquire about available dates and times. Please note that availability will vary depending on staff and volunteer availability, especially for out of hours visits.
To get in touch, please call us on 0115 984 6914 during office hours, or email office@frameworkknittersmuseum.org.uk with details of the preferred date and time of your visit, and group numbers. We’ll then contact you to discuss your booking.
Please note that we require groups of 10 or more people to pay a 50% deposit to confirm the booking. Full payment, including the cost of any refreshments ordered, should be made before the date of your visit. We accept payment by cash, cheque, BACS transfer and credit/debit card.
