Legacies

Could You Leave Us a Legacy?

By remembering the Framework Knitters Museum in your will, you can help safeguard an important part of Nottinghamshire's industrial and social heritage.

Your gift will help us:

• Care for our historic site and collections
• Preserve the craft and history of framework knitting
• Deliver educational activities for schools and families
• Ensure future generations can continue to discover and enjoy the museum

If you're considering leaving us a gift, we recommend speaking with your solicitor, who can advise you on the best option for your circumstances.

For further guidance, you can download our Leaving a Legacy Leaflet and Confidential Pledge Form.

Should you wish to let us know your intentions, or simply have an informal conversation, we'd be pleased to hear from you.

In Memoriam Donations

Making a donation in memory of a loved one is a meaningful way to celebrate their life while helping preserve an important part of our shared heritage.

Many families choose to support a cause that reflects their loved one's interests and values, creating a lasting tribute that continues to make a difference.

If you would like to arrange a collection at a funeral or memorial service, your funeral director will be able to help.

Alternatively, donations can be made directly to the museum by cheque or bank transfer.

If you plan to make an in memoriam donation, please get in touch. We'd love to thank you for your generosity and discuss any specific wishes you may have.
