Victorian Christmas Event

Soak up the authentic atmosphere of a cosy Victorian Christmas in the museum’s cottages and workshops, with staff and actors in costume and the enactment of a special story featuring Queen Victoria’s stockings!

As it starts to get dark, the candles come out and the museum will take you back into a Christmas from the past – and best of all, it is free admission!

We will, of course, also have all the usual festive fun trimmings such roasted chestnuts, mouse hunt (can you spot one in the picture below?) Ruddington Community Choir, tombola and Christmas themed craft activities.
