Chapel Gallery Exhibition: Trash to Treasure – Second Turning Textile Group

This exhibition from Second Turning Textile Group explores the creative potential of unconventional, found, and repurposed materials. It celebrates reuse, recycling, and repair—transforming items that might otherwise be discarded into sources of inspiration for textile and mixed‑media practice.
Items from the exhibition will be available to purchase.
Second Turning are a group of fourteen textile and mixed media artists based in Nottinghamshire.
Strait Laced and Stitched Up, their 2025 exhibition in our Chapel Gallery, was very popular and has since been expanded and is currently on display at Harborough Museum alongside the Symington corsets that inspired the work. For more information please visit Straitlaced and Stitched Up | Harborough Museum
PLEASE NOTE: As the Gallery is a shared space, if possible, please do check availability to view the exhibition before visiting to avoid disappointment.
