Parkers Yard Craft & Gift Shop
Parkers Yard prides itself in offering crafts and gifts from local producers and artists. We have a wide range of knitted items alongside craft and jewellery kits.
If local history piques your interests, we are well stocked with books about the museum, its history, Victorian life, and historical books about Nottingham.
We like to keep the shop fresh and constantly add new ranges, so there is always a reason to keep visiting.
Greetings Cards & Gift Cards
Our greetings cards are exclusive and have been specially created for us by a local artist. They come in a choice of designs inspired by the museum, and all are left blank, so they will be perfect for any occasion. Why not include a gift card and make that greeting card even extra special.
Gift cards can be purchased separately for any value and spent on museum admission, the shop or the café.

Commissions & Suppliers
We may be able to produce special commissions using our knitting frames and circular sock machines. If you are interested in having something specially made and unique for you, please enquire at the counter or email us with details of your request.
We like to support local craftspeople, so if you would like to sell your work with us, or perhaps run workshops, then please get in touch.
Second visit to this fascinating museum, a veritable storehouse of social history, staffed by knowledgeable, enthusiastic folk. Some steps may prove difficult for the elderly or infirm but there’s plenty to appreciate at ground level.
Living History
My sister and I loved this museum. Especially the guided tours explaining how the machines work and the working and living conditions of the frame knitters at the time. Even got the chance to take a look at Queen Victoria’s stockings in the former methodist church across the cottages. Excellent museum! Very entertaining and interesting
