The Tier 3 restrictions that will be brought into play in Rushcliffe from 00:01 tomorrow (Friday 30 October 2020) unfortunately mean that the Framework Knitters Museum will have to close for at least 28 days.
This is in line with the requirement for all tourist venues across Nottingham city and Nottinghamshire to close their doors. This, along with a raft of other restrictions, has been introduced in the hope of reducing the spread of Covid-19 in our area.
In addition, we will also be cancelling all bookings for the Chapel that were due to take place within the next 28 days.
What to do if you have a museum or Chapel booking
We’ll contact you shortly to discuss rearranging or refunding your booking. Whilst the Tier 3 restrictions will be reviewed after 28 days, there’s no guarantee that they’ll be lifted after this time. So, you may prefer to have a refund and rebook with us when we know we can reopen.
The museum staff will continue working during the period of Tier 3 restrictions, but there’ll be times when we’re all working from home and no one is on site. If you need to contact us, it’s therefore best to send us an email rather than calling and leaving a voicemail.
Alternatively, you can send us a message via Facebook and we’ll get back to you as soon as we can. We’ll be keeping you updated on what’s happening at the museum on Facebook and Twitter, so please connect with us online if you haven’t already done so.
