Outing to Hardwick Hall, National Trust – Tuesday 14 May

DEPART: Ruddington Green at 9.30am and arrive at Hardwick Hall at around 10.30am where there will be time for coffee.

11am: Welcome by NT staff/volunteer. A short talk on Bess of Hardwick followed by self-guided tour of the Hall. A chance to view the newly

restored tapestries.

Lunch will either be at a restaurant or picnic in nearby garden and in the afternoon there will be free time to explore the museum rooms in the hall, visit Hardwick Old Hall  and take a woodland walk to explore the gardens.

DEPART: Hardwick Hall at 3.30pm and arrive back in Ruddington around 4.30-5pm, depending on traffic.

COST: The coach will be £19 and entrance to Hardwick Hall is £19 or free to National Trust members, on production of their NT Membership Card.

Tickets are available at the museum. Please book early as this outing is also open to persons who are not Members of the Friends.
